Indian head massage is based on the ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. The aim of Indian head massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. The therapist uses a range of different movements including application of deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp areas. In addition, the therapist will also gently stimulate and stroke pressure points on the face.

Deep-tissue massage is best for giving attention to certain painful, stiff "trouble spots" in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin.
Though less rhythmic than other types of massage, deep tissue massage can be quite therapeutic - relieving chronic tension and helping with muscle injuries, such as back sprain.

Neuromuscular massage therapy is a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems.
This medically oriented form of massage addresses trigger points (tender muscles points), circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries.

Designed to help prevent and relieve injuries and conditions associated with exercise, sports therapy massage is quite strenuous and is meant to relieve and reduce the tension that builds up within the body's soft tissues while exercising. It uses techniques that increase endurance and performance, minimise chances of injury and, if there is an injury, reduce recovery time. It is not only utilised by professional sports people or people that exercise heavily. It is of benefit to anyone that anyone with chronic pain, injury or range-of-motion issues.

Specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or places them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. Hot stones are incorporated into the massage and are placed over specific points along the spine and other parts of your body to keep you warm and comforted . The direct heat provided by the hot stones helps to relax muscles, allowing a greater intensity of treatment than that of a regular massage.
£62: Hot stone massage
Reflexology is an ancient healing based on the principles that there are reflexes in the hands and feet that correspond to every part, organ and gland in the body. Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears. Reflexologists believe that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health.
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage that encourages drainage of the lymph from the tissues. The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then beyond the lymph nodes to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure (less than 9 ounces per square inch) and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.
£60: Manual lymphatic drainage
Physiotherapy plays a science-based role in healing, pain relief and rehabilitation, helping muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints to recover from injury and dysfunction. We offer a range of treatment, such as sports massage therapy, joint mobilisation/manipulations, postural re-education and active release/cross frictions for all musculo skeletal complaints; including back, neck and shoulder pain, sports injuries, pre and post operative rehabilitation, muscle retraining and biofeedback, whiplash, ligament sprains and muscle strains.
Acupuncture involves the stimulation of points on the body by techniques, such as penetrating the skin with needles that are then manipulated manually or by electrical stimulation. It is a key component of traditional Chinese medicine, and is among the oldest healing practices in the world. Current research shows that acupuncture is effective in the relief of certain types of pain. Recent systematic reviews found that acupuncture also seems to be a promising treatment option for anxiety, sleep disturbances, and depression.
